Description:

Copycan / Clipboard is a clipboard management application designed for iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad) running iOS 10 or later. It functions as an extension that allows users to monitor and organize their copied content efficiently.

Upon use, Copycan records all text copied from the device, storing each entry on a separate line within its main list, effectively creating multiple virtual clipboards for quick access and management.

Designed with user-friendliness in mind, Copycan offers an accessible interface that is intuitive immediately after installation, making it an effective tool for increasing productivity across iOS devices.

Basic Operation:

1. Launching Copycan displays its main list, which populates automatically with the current contents of the device’s clipboard.
2. If Copycan is in record mode, the list indicator turns red. In this mode, the application is ready to capture any text copied from any app—including browsers, email clients, or word processors.
3. Switching to stop mode changes the list indicator to yellow. Users can tap the red “REC” button at the top center to toggle back into record mode. When active, Copycan continues to log copy operations from all applications.
4. Users can revisit the main list at any time to review captured items. Selecting an item will recopy it to the device’s clipboard, enabling easy pasting into other applications.

Alert:

It is important to note that Copycan does not operate on background applications within iOS. It only captures copy events when actively in use and in record mode.
